Why is it so important to them to let child molesters go out in the field ministry?
by Eustace inwhat's up with the watchtower society still letting those they know to have sexually abused children go out in the field service despite that being crucial to the ruling against them in the conti suit?
they don't let men with beards go out in the field service in america with the justification that "beards are not the custom" and that therefore they "are not considered acceptable for christian ministers," but having sexually abused a child is somehow acceptable for a christian minister?.
last i checked molesting children isn't considered socially acceptable according to the customs of the united states and certainly finding out that child molesters are allowed to be jehovah's witness publishers is a whole lot more alienating to potential converts than them seeing jehovah's witness publishers with beards.

Might this have something to do with legal liability while talking out of both sides of their mouths?
The WT likes to claim in court cases that participation in field ministry is a personal choice; they do not control or regulate a Christian's "personal ministry" (of course, that's not really true).
If the Governing Body were to openly and directly regulate or restrict participation in the field ministry, they would become liable for the actions of publishers, who they want to keep at arms length. Then they could no longer play the "personal ministry" card in legal cases.

When did the society decide blood transfusions were a bad idea?
by new boy inmore book research..
-
Ultimate Reality
I researched this a few years ago. Here are some notes I made; hope it helps. It morphs from anti-vaccination to anti-transfusion.
“Instead, we should write to them to keep away from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from anything strangled, and from blood. After all, Moses has had people to proclaim him in every city for generations, and on every Sabbath his books are read aloud in the synagogues.” – Acts 15:20,21, ISV
1909
"These prohibitions had never come to the Gentiles, because they had never been under the Law Covenant; but so deeply rooted were the Jewish ideas on this subject that it was necessary to the peace of the church that the Gentiles should observe this matter also." – Zion’s Watch Tower April 15, 1909
1931
“The most sacred thing on earth in the sight of God is human blood, “for in the image of God he made man.” (See Genesis 9:6.) God destroyed the entire human race, except Noah and his family, at the time of the flood, because of un-natural pollution of human blood.”
“So important was this covenant that God placed His bow in the clouds as an everlasting reminder of the danger of its violation.”
“What about Armageddon?…Will those who have made and injected and suffered the injection of calf and horse serums [for vaccination] into the human bloodstream go scot free? We doubt it.”
“Quite likely there is some connection between the violation of human blood and the spread of demonisim.”
“…much of the looseness of our day along sexual lines may be traceable to the easy and continued violation of the divine commands to keep human and animal blood apart from each other. With cells of foreign blood racing through his veins man is not normal, not himself, but lacks the poise and balance which make for self control.” – The Golden Age, February 4, 1931
1954
"We are told that it takes one and a third pints of whole blood to get enough of the blood protein or "fraction" known as gamma globulin for one injection... its being made of whole blood places it in the same category as blood transfusions as far as Jehovah's prohibition of taking blood into the system is concerned." - Awake!, January 8, 1954 p.24
1961
"The blood in any person is in reality the person himself. ... poisons due to personal living, eating and drinking habits ... The poisons that produce the impulse to commit suicide, murder, or steal are in the blood. Moral insanity, sexual perversions, repression, inferiority complexes, petty crimes - these often follow in the wake of blood transfusion." - Watchtower, September 1, 1961 p.564

Others have said this but I think it should be repeated:
If parents are at fault for their kids leaving the organization, then, following Tony's argument to its logical conclusion, Jehovah is a failure as a father.
He failed to do what was necessary to protect his children, Adam and Eve...and that was a result of his failure as a father to the "angel who became Satan" and myriads of other disobedient spirit children to left the "heavenly part of God's organization."
I'm waiting on family to mention this meeting to me...they repeatedly brought it up in advance...and now I've heard nothing. I can tell they are always hoping for some development that will prove that I'm wrong for leaving or some change that will address my issues with the organization. Now, the Governing Body is claiming that, for those like me, it's not the Governing Body's fault we left...it's our parent's fault.
Thanks, Tony, for dropping your "turd" on parents everywhere.

And if she was pregnant as a result of the adultery, would this not cause the unborn child to be aborted? So, abortion is allowed if God is the one performing it. Just like rape (of Mary) is allowed, if God is the one doing it.

New to The Jehovahs Witness Faith and need some help
by jnjburkett inhello there i am new to the faith and have been studying for about a month.
i am very excited and hungry for the truth and have not missed a meeting or study since the memorial.
we do about 2 bible studies a week.

After one month you're assuming many things about "truth" and the Jehovah's Witnesses/Watchtower being the sole posessor of truth or "revealed knowledge." You are also assuming that you are building a relationship with God and that it can only be made possible with this organization as a mediator to God. As the others have pointed out, go to jwfacts.com. Verify eveything there from the Watchtower's own publications and do not give up in thinking for yourself.

Courtesy of Watchtower87, the May 2014 KM has an announcement on page 4 as follows:
"Beneficiaries of a government program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) may apply to serve as temporary Bethel family members or temporary volunteers. When answering questions regarding citizenship on the application, these individuals should identify themselves as DACA beneficiaries."
So, does this mean that the WT is offering the privledge of service (free labor) at U.S. Bethel to a new group? The children of illegal aliens/undocumented workers who are also not in the U.S. legally?
According to Wikipedia:
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (“DACA”) is a memorandum authored by the Obama Administration on June 15, 2012. It was implemented by the Secretary of the Department Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano. It directs U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to practice prosecutorial discretion towards some individuals who immigrated illegally to the United States as children.
A grant of deferred removal action does not confer lawful immigration status, alter an individual’s existing immigration status, or provide a path to citizenship.

How would you answer these questions that came to me in an email through my website? ...
by AndersonsInfo inmany emails are sent to me through my website, watchtowerdocuments.com.
all are answered.
remember 1corinthians 6: 1-2 (i'll answer this question.

Most of his questions assume the premise that the WT is "God's organization and channel of communication" and, by extention, that the interpretation of the "proof-texts" he cites is correct. He needs to provide evidence to support his extraordinary claims FIRST.

When was the significance of the year 1919 first stated?
by jwfacts in.
when was it first introduced that the watchtower organisation was chosen in 1919?
i expect this was something first published under rutherford, as a way of making his leadership more important than that of russell, but would like some evidence to back that claim up.. .

Since things are usually "discerned" over time it may be difficult to determine when this decison was fully complete. However, I have found the August 1 & 15, 1930 Watchtower to be enlightening as it claims that prophecy could only be understood after the Lord came to his Temple in 1918.
These articles re-interpret the Terrible Image in Daniel and its various metals as being elements in "Satan's Organization" and claims that the then previously believed Adventist interpretation (with each section representing a world power) was inaccurate but it was to be expected because the correct interpretation could not be unkown until after 1918. Note that "great signs" were part of this process:
WT Aug. 1, 1930, Paragraph 45: "When the Lord came to his temple in 1918 greater light began to shine into the mind of each one of his devoted ones who have been brought into the temple. It was about 1925 that the faithful discerned the fact that the kingdom had begun and that Satan had been cast out of heaven and now must confine his operations to the earth. The two great signs or wonders in heaven appeared unto them and were then understood by God's people for the first time.
46: It therefore seems to be impossible that even the anointed of the Lord could have had a proper conception of the 'terrible image' of Daniel until after the coming of the Lord to his temple..."
